Many criticisms fell on the artist, Dina El-Sherbiny, because of her appearance in the activities of the third day of the El Gouna Film Festival in its fifth session.
Dina appeared in a bold multi-colored dress, with openings on the abdomen, with a cashmere-cut, and a bold leg-length slit. Aesthetically, she adopted a strong make-up, and chose to leave her curly hair loose on both sides.
Lebanese fashion critic Elie Hanna criticized Dinas appearance today, denouncing her insistence on appearing in looks resembling sea dresses, asking: “Why does he insist on wearing beach dresses at the festival?”
And he mocked, saying: “Sure, we have a dip in the sea after the festival and a destination is ready.”
And the El Gouna Film Festival lit its fifth birthday candle last Thursday, with an opening ceremony attended by art stars from around the world, and the ceremony witnessed the honoring of the artist Ahmed El Sakka and awarding him the Creative Achievement Award, for his artistic career.
The fifth edition of the festival will continue this year until October 22, with the participation of filmmakers from about 36 countries.
