Al-Ahly arrives in Cairo after a draw with the National Guard in Niger in the Champions League


The Al-Ahly club team arrived in Cairo at dawn today, Sunday, coming from Niger after a draw after playing the National Guard match, which ended in a positive 1-1 draw in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

After the end of the meeting, Al-Ahly’s mission moved from General Seni Konchi Stadium to Diori Hamani Airport, to start the return trip to Cairo, and the trip lasted about six hours.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football for the club’s first football team, head of Al-Ahly’s mission in Niger, was keen to thank Ambassador Nabil Makki, Egypt’s ambassador to Niger, and the embassy staff, which includes the administrative attache Ferjani Mohamed, Mosad Mahmoud and Ahmed Mahmoud, for the great effort made by the embassy. Abdel Hafeez added that the Egyptian embassy in Niger was keen to overcome all obstacles and provide all means of comfort to the mission, as is the custom of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in all countries, especially since the coordination between Al-Ahly and the Egyptian embassy began early, specifically two weeks before the mission’s attendance, to finish all procedures early so that all things are in order.
