The CEO of Zamalek club, Hussein Al-Samri, said that he does not have any information regarding the support of the former chairman of his club, Mamdouh Abbas, for the renewal of the contract of their Moroccan player Ashraf Bencharki.
Al-Samri added, in an intervention on the Zamalek satellite channel: “I have no information. He is Zamalek and any Zamalek wants to present something. The door is open, but nothing official has even come.”
The CEO of Zamalek Club touched on the registration crisis that his team is experiencing, saying: “There is a hearing next Thursday to determine the final position of the penalty of deprivation of registration and the ratio of 50%: 50%, and the decision of the position of new deals on loan will be within 48 hours.”
Al-Samri concluded his statements by referring to the travel of the head of the committee that runs Zamalek, Hussein Labib, to attend the Club World Cup for Handball, by saying: “Hussein Labib was supposed to travel to Saudi Arabia to attend the tournament, but he would not be able to attend the tournament because something bad happened to him, and not because of his absence, an association with anger.” The council did not invite, and what happened was that Hussein Labib was playing tennis yesterday and got injured.”
