American star Alec Baldwin kills the director of filming for his new movie and injures the director


An unfortunate accident occurred during the filming of an American movie, where the star Alec Baldwin fired a gun, killing the director of photography and wounding the director, according to authorities in the state of New Mexico.

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, a statement issued by the Santa Fe Police Office said that Baldwin, who is acting and producing the film RustShot with a pistol in an accident Thursday.

The statement said police were dispatched to the shooting location at Bonanza Creek ranch when an emergency caller reported a shooting.

Director of photography Helena Hutchins, 42, and director Joel Sousa, 48, were shot after Alec Baldwin, the 68-year-old actor, was shot.

Hutchins was flown by helicopter to New Mexico University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical staff, while Souza was taken by ambulance to a nearby medical center where he is being treated for his injuries. The investigation is still open and underway, and no charges have been filed in the incident.

A police official said that Baldwin came voluntarily to speak with investigators, and then left and spoke to them. A spokesman for the American actor said that there was an incident on the set that involved the accidental firing of a pistol with stray bullets.

The Santa Fe New Mexico newspaper reported that Baldwin was seen leaving the police office in tears, and they were unable to obtain comment from him.
