Amir Tawfiq: We did not reach an agreement on renewing Musimani’s contract, and Ajayi did not doubt Al-Ahly

Amir Tawfiq, Director of Contracts at Al-Ahly Club, said that it is incorrect to say that Junior Ajayi filed a complaint with the International Football Association “FIFA” against the club, stressing that there is no problem with the player and they are united by mutual respect, and an agreement will be reached within the next two months.

Tawfiq added, in statements to Al-Ahly channel, that he did not reach an agreement regarding the renewal of Musimani’s contract with the Red Castle, explaining that there are no problems with the coach, and that he continues with the Red Castle until the end of the current season 2021/2022.

Al-Ahly’s Contracting Director confirmed that there is no intention to include an Egyptian or foreign coach for the assisting body, noting that Sami Kommos continues in his position as general coach, pointing out that Musimani was the one who requested the departure of Kevin Johnson, the assistant coach for Al-Ahly, according to his vision, and the club responded to his desire.

Tawfiq indicated that the value of the Percy Tau deal is estimated at one million and 800,000 dollars, which the club will pay in installments.

He concluded his statements by saying: “There is a player in the Egyptian League who was very close to joining Al-Ahly, but the deal was not completed due to certain circumstances. This player called me and was crying because he wanted to move to Al-Ahly, but I told him that things were not in my hands.”“.
