The British Labor Party has called on the government to implement Plan B measures to deal with Covid-19 in England, including recommending working from home and the mandatory wearing of medical masks.

Shadow Cabinet Secretary Rachel Reeves told the BBC that the vaccine program had been “paused” and needed to do better.

But Finance Minister Rishi Sunak said the data did not currently indicate a need for an “immediate transition to Plan B”.

The measures, aimed at protecting the NHS from “unbearable stress”, also include mandatory COVID-19 passports.
