FilGoal | News | A source from Al-Ahly to the Joule: Salah Mohsen is absent for a month after his injury

Salah Mohsen, Al-Ahly player, suffered an injury, which will result in him being absent for a period of more than a month.

A source from Al-Ahly – who asked not to be named – told today, Tuesday: “Salah Mohsen suffered a crack in the face of the foot.”

He continued, “This is the reason why the player did not travel with the team to Niger to meet the National Guard Club in the African Champions League.”

And the source continued, “Salah Mohsen will undergo an intensive physiotherapy program, and his absence will range from 4 to 5 weeks.”

Accordingly, to a large extent, Salah Mohsen will not be able to catch up with the summit meeting against Zamalek in the third round of the Egyptian League, which will be held on the fifth of next November.

Al-Ahly is preparing to meet the Nigerian National Guard next Saturday in the second leg of the 32nd round of the Champions League, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Then, Al-Ahly will start its league campaign on the 27th of this month, by meeting Al-Ismaili at the Burj Al Arab Stadium.
