Patrick Kluivert, the former Netherlands and Barcelona star, believes that Mohamed Salah is a player that any coach would wish for at the present time.

Kluivert believes that Lionel Messi’s decision to leave Barcelona is perhaps the most difficult decision in the club’s history.

Kluivert said on Ontime Sports: “Messi’s departure from Barcelona was very difficult and a loss for the team, as he is the greatest player in the world.”

The Dutch national team star added, “Maybe Messi’s departure is the decision for Barcelona throughout its history.”

On the technical leadership of Barcelona at the present time, he explained, “I see that Koeman is the appropriate coach for the current Barcelona team, but he needs some time.”

As for Mohamed Salah, Kluivert said: “He is a more than wonderful and distinguished player, and certainly one of the best players in the world.”

Regarding the Ballon d’Or award for the best player in the world, he revealed, “I expect that Lewandowski can win the award for the best player and he can win the Champions League.”

He concluded his statements, “Every coach in the world wishes to include Mohamed Salah, but me and others are used to watching him with Liverpool and it is difficult to see him leave the team.”
