Al-Shahat said on the Egyptian Channel One: “When we talk as players to each other, we say we did nothing with Al-Ahly. We were satiated? With ten championships?”
He continued, “I don’t care about what is said about me, I focus on my work. People think that I use social media a lot because there are sick people who have created pages in my name.”
“The injury prevented me from meeting the National Guard, but I do not need surgery,” he added.
Al-Ahly tied 1-1 with its host, the National Guard of Niger, on Saturday, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly, the defending champion, will host the return match on October 23.
Then he begins his career in the Egyptian Premier League with a strong confrontation against his host Ismaili.
