FilGoal | News | Simeone: I go to the cinema and think whether he will play Korea or Felix

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone stressed that football takes all of his thinking throughout the day.

“Football is 24 hours a day, but it is difficult to escape with distractions,” Simeone told the Argentine newspaper, Ole.

He continued, “If I go to the cinema, the film lasts for an hour and a half and it can be very good, but when it is quieter I start to wonder if I will play Joao Felix or Angel Correa, my way of relaxing is to imagine how I can put the team together.”

He added, “The club has grown in a tremendous way and we are still looking for more in our project, we have a great stadium but now we need our own training center, we now have conditions that we did not have before.”

Simeone has been in charge of coaching Atletico Madrid for 11 years, during which he managed to win the league on two occasions, the European League twice, the European Super Cup twice, the King of Spain Cup once, and the Spanish Super Cup once.

Atletico Madrid is currently in second place in the Spanish league standings with 17 points and a goal difference from leaders Real Madrid.
