The women’s national football team exited the African Nations Cup qualifiers to be held in Morocco, with a new loss to Tunisia.

Maryam Houij scored Tunisias only goal in the 90th minute of the match, from a penalty kick.

Thus, the Egyptian women lost their chances of qualifying for the upcoming African Nations.

The first stage will be held in the home and away system, with 22 teams qualifying for the second and final stage.

In the second stage, 11 teams will advance to the African Nations next to Morocco, the host of the tournament.

Morocco will host the African Nations Championship for women from 2 to 23 July.
