Carteron’s decision came after the players took a two-day break after winning a 1-0 victory over Kenyas Tusker in Kenya in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
The manager Carteron held a long session with the players before the start of the group training this evening, Tuesday, at Abdel Latif Abu Rjeila Stadium, at the White Castle headquarters.
Carteron spoke with the players about the importance of facing Tusker in the return match next Friday, and called on everyone to continue focusing on winning in order to advance to the group stage.
At the end of the session, Carteron explained to the players the training program during the day’s training.
Tariq Hamed organized the group training this evening naturally, despite the death of his uncle yesterday, and the players and the technical, administrative and medical staff of the team were keen to offer a duty of condolences to the player.
Cartieron held a quick session with the Ivorian team player, Razak Cisse, in the presence of Mohamed Osama, the head of the medical apparatus.
