Khaled Suleiman Abu Al-Ela has officially applied for the position of Al-Ahly president in the upcoming elections to compete with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Al-Ahmar’s president, who announced his candidacy and has not submitted his papers yet.
Khaled Suleiman attended Al-Ahly’s headquarters on the island, entered all his data in the nomination form, submitted all the required papers, and paid the fees at 30,000 pounds, along with 14% of an added value.
Thus, Khaled Suleiman will be the first candidate for the presidency and the owner of the number 6 for applicants in the Al-Ahly elections.
And earlier today, Al-Amri Farouk Ali submitted the position of MP and Mai Atef Ali the position of underage membership on the list of Mahmoud Al-Khatib and Manar Saeed for independent over-age membership.
The trio, Omar Rabie Yassin and Abdel Rahman Al-Ayashi, had submitted papers for their candidacy for the Al-Ahly Board of Directors elections under age, in addition to Dr. Ahmed Ghait over age.
It is scheduled to close the door for receiving applications for candidates at seven in the evening tomorrow, Friday, to take place on Sunday 25 and 26 November.
The Al-Ahly elections will be held on November 25 and 26, in a new cycle of the Red Castle during the period from 2021 to 2025.
According to Al-Ahly’s special bylaw, the board of directors consists of 12 individuals, the president, the vice president, the treasurer, and 9 members, including two members for youth under the age of 35 on the date of the nomination window.
