National Guard coach: We will come to Egypt to win

Zakaria Ibrahim, coach of the National Guard Club, the champion of Niger, stated that his team will come to Egypt in the return match of the 32nd round of the African Champions League in order to win.

Zakariao said in his statements to the “Sada Al-Balad” satellite channel: “If you watched the match, Al-Ahly was the best in the first half, and in the second half we had a lot of chances to win the match.”

He continued: “Before the match, we did not know how Al-Ahly would play, but after a while we knew how to play, but he had already scored the goal, and after that we had to play with our philosophy and style of play.”

He continued, “Now we can say that Al-Ahly has problems in some positions. We can know that he is not good in places on the field, and I can play in Cairo to win.”

He added, “I cannot reveal Al-Ahly’s weaknesses because this is part of my plan that I will rely on in the return match.”

In response to Pitso Mosimane’s statement regarding Al-Ahly’s eligibility for a penalty kick, he said: “This is his opinion. I cannot comment on it, but I see that the defender played the ball before the Al-Ahly player.”

Al-Ahly and the National Guard drew 1-1 away from the ground, and it needs to win by any result or a goalless draw in Cairo in order to qualify for the group stage.
