Portuguese newspaper: Ferreira received an offer from Al-Ahly to lead the team for two seasons


Press reports revealed that the Portuguese Jesualdo Ferreira received an offer from Al-Ahly Club to lead the team, replacing South African coach Pitso Musimani, for a period of two seasons, to return to Egypt again after taking over the Zamalek team in the past.

And the Portuguese newspaper “ojogo” said that Ferreira is studying an offer from Al-Ahly club, accompanied by his assistant staff, Roy Aguas, the assistant coach to lead the red genie for two years.


The newspaper pointed out that Ferreira is not far from Egyptian football, as he led the Zamalek club before and won many championships with him, both at the local and African levels.

Al-Ahly and the National Guard tied 1-1 during the match that was held this evening, Saturday, at General Seni Konche Stadium in the capital, Niamey, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

Ali Maaloul advanced to Al-Ahly from a penalty kick in the minute, and Gabriela Diouli tied for the National Guard team in the 75th minute.

The return match will be held next Saturday at Al-Ahly and Al-Salam Stadium, which will decide the team qualified for the group stage in the continental championship, which Al-Ahly holds the title in the last two editions and 10 times in its history.
