Pyramids refuses to play Zamalek in the Enppi match at the Air Defense Stadium

Pyramids Club apologized for not hosting its stadium, June 30, in Air Defense, for the match between Zamalek and Enppi, which is scheduled for next Tuesday in the first round of the Premier League, due to the periodic maintenance work that is currently taking place in the stadium.

Pyramids Club issued an official statement in which it confirmed that it receives all clubs and teams with openness, happiness and pride, in light of its distinguished relations with all elements of the Egyptian football system, and agrees to host its stadium for the required matches as long as it is available, which is what happened last year by hosting matches for Zamalek Club at the end of the football season , as well as for the first Egyptian national team, and meetings in the Arab Youth Championship, but in a manner that does not conflict with the interest of the stadium and the maintenance work carried out in it, as well as the interest of the Pyramids Club team.

Pyramids indicated that, in agreement with the company responsible for the maintenance of the stadium, which is carried out periodically after the end of each season, it was decided to open the stadium only exceptionally for the Pyramids team to play its three matches against Azzam Tanzania in the Confederation, Al-Maqasa and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria in the league, with the continuation of comprehensive maintenance work for the floor with its intensification. During the next international break, the stadium will be fully prepared and in the best possible way after the November hiatus.

Pyramids expressed its full support for the Professional Clubs Association, headed by Representative Ahmed Diab, in all the steps it takes to fulfill its role to the fullest and provide a season worthy of Egyptian football and the most important and oldest league in the region.

Pyramids Club obtained the rights to rent the Air Defense Stadium to play the team’s matches on it, as it became its official stadium at the local and African levels.
