The Portuguese coach, Carlos Queiroz, the new coach of the Egyptian national team, revealed the latest news of the preparations of the Pharaohs before facing Libya, scheduled for them at exactly nine o’clock tomorrow evening, Friday, at the Egyptian Army Stadium in Borg El Arab, to calculate the matches of the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup Qatar.
Queiroz said at the press conference: “I welcome all the attendees, we are proud of the task that we have, and we hope to delight the fans tomorrow. I will ask a question to the Egyptian press, are you ready to support Egypt tomorrow? We need your support.”
Regarding Mohamed El-Shennawy’s position, Queiroz confirmed that El-Shennawy was not injured, he only had a bruise, and all the players are ready to face Libya tomorrow, and we will do our best to make the Egyptian fans happy.
He explained: “The recent joining of two local players is a gift for us, and if they arrived two days early, it would be better. I thank all the coaches and clubs for their support, and when the professionals arrived outside Egypt, we tried to make a perfect combination between everyone.”
He continued: “I trust the players, and I believe that no one can make a revolution in football. I try to create harmony between the players, and of course I wish I had more time to prepare, but Egypt’s players are committed and respectful.”
And he added: “Egypt is very lucky with these players who are in the team, they are committed to the team shirt, and they have a desire to make the fans happy, and tomorrow’s match is very big for us, and we must be united, and we have a match of 6 parts, and the match against Libya tomorrow is the third part.”
And he concluded: “I will guarantee you only one thing, which is that Egypt will be a great team tomorrow, and you will be happy with the team.”
