The Professional Clubs Association, of the Egyptian Football Association, responded to the request of the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, to hold the summit match between Zamalek and Al-Ahly, in the third week of the Egyptian Premier League, scheduled to start at the end of this month, on November 4, specifically.
Queiroz requested that the summit match between the two Egyptian football poles, Al-Ahly and Zamalek, be held on November 4, to give international players a 48-hour rest, before the start of the national team camp on November 7 in Borg El Arab.
Queiroz wants to rest the international players, after playing a large number of African and local matches, before entering a camp in preparation for facing Angola outside the ground in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, and then receiving Gabon in the last round of qualifiers.
For its part, the Premier League Clubs Association set November 4 as the date for the Egyptian League summit that brings together Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the third week of the life of the General League, provided that the summit will be held in Cairo Stadium if the repairs are completed in it, or it will be held in the Air Defense Stadium in the event that it is not completed fixes.
