Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, has stated that he wants to stay in the team throughout his career, but he made it clear that the matter is in the hands of the club in the first place.

Salah said in his interview with Sky Sports today, Friday: “If you ask me, I would like to continue until the last day of my football life, but I cannot say much about this, it is not in my hands.”

“It depends on what the club wants, not me.”

He added: “At the moment I don’t see myself playing against Liverpool, this will make me sad, it’s very difficult, I don’t want to talk about this, but it will make me very sad.”

He continued: “At the moment, I do not see that I can play against Liverpool, but let’s see what happens in the future.”

Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017, and his contract with the team extends until the summer of 2023, and the club’s management is currently working on renewing the player’s contract.
