Books – Muhammad Saeed:

Lawyer Khaled Suleiman, the first official candidate for the upcoming presidency of Al-Ahly club, called for a debate with Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the current president of Al-Ahly club, who also announced his candidacy for the elections if there were opportunities for that.

“Suleiman” – a member of the General Assembly from 2007 – said in exclusive statements to Laila Koura, that he had previously ran for the membership seat 4 years ago and was unsuccessful due to the intense competition between the “Khatib and Taher” list.

Suleiman ran in the last elections for membership over the age, obtaining 717, and came in the penultimate position among 19 candidates.

He revealed that he is preparing to enter the elections since the opening of the candidacy door and has an electoral program that will be announced later, denying what comes to the minds of some of his purpose to gain fame by entering the elections because he is a famous lawyer.

He indicated that he would not put a “poster” for advertising in the club’s elections, citing “the position of the president of Al-Ahly Club is greater than that.”

And about the strength of “Al-Khatib”, “Suleiman” said: “If the competitor is weak, I will not vote for the elections… and I will strive in front of the rest of the competitors with my plan.”

The candidate for the presidency of Al-Ahly wished continued health and wellness for Al-Ahly club president Mahmoud Al-Khatib, who was recently exposed to a health crisis.

Suleiman called on the media to balance in covering the news of the candidates for the presidency of Al-Ahly Club, which is a constitutional right.

According to Al-Ahly’s own bylaw, the board of directors consists of 12 individuals. Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, and 9 members, two of whom are underage.

Al-Ahly elections are scheduled to be held on November 25 and 26.
