A number of members of the Egyptian House of Representatives submitted requests for briefing today, Sunday, according to a statement issued by the House, on several financial and administrative violations attributed to the Egyptian Football Association.
It is scheduled to hold the Youth and Sports Committee of the House of Representatives, tomorrow, Monday, an urgent meeting to discuss the requests for briefing.
The briefing requests included discussing the following matters:
– The officials of the Football Association disbursed amounts of about 5.7 million pounds to people who have nothing to do with the Football Association without doing business for those amounts.
– Revenues of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, organized by Egypt, were not included in the federation’s resources in the annual budget, which amounted to 16.6 million dollars.
– The failure of the Football Association officials to ask the Confederation of the revenues owed to the Football Association for the African Nations U-23 Championship so far, which may waste the money on the Football Association.
