And, according to the British newspaper, The Athletic, Arteta rejects Mohamed Elneny’s departure from Arsenal in the January transfers, which contradicts the club’s management’s desire to dispense with the player during the winter transfers.

She added that Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta, believes that Mohamed Elneny should remain in the Gunners ranks until the end of the current season, as the Gunners coach considers him a strong option on the bench in the midfield.

The newspaper concluded, that the Arsenal administration is seeking to sell Mohamed Elneny in January, to benefit financially from his deal instead of leaving him for free after the end of his contract next June.
