Khaled Al-Nama, the official spokesman for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, said in statements to Qatar News Agency that the opening match of the tournament will be attended by a full audience.
He added, “Coordination has been made with the Ministry of Health so that the opening ceremony will have a capacity of 100%, that is, 60,000 spectators will watch the match between Qatar and Bahrain.”
In the same context, FIFA has introduced a new batch of all categories of tickets for the opening match.
The tournament begins on November 30 and ends on December 18.
On Monday, the organizing committee for the Arab Cup revealed the new model for the Arab Cup.
The new cup is made of pure gold, and the map of the Arab world and the name of the tournament in Arabic are engraved on it.
16 Arab teams are competing for the new cup, divided into 4 groups.
The tournament will be held in 6 of the 2022 World Cup stadiums.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian national team is in one group with Algeria, Sudan and Lebanon.
