FilGoal | News | Klopp: Salah is among the world’s elite, if not the best

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp believes that his player, Mohamed Salah, is the best player in the world at the moment.

In his fifth season with Liverpool, Salah imposed himself on the headlines early with his brilliance with the Reds by scoring 15 goals this season, including 10 in the English Premier League.

“I’m not sure if we should put Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo aside when we talk about the best players in the world, of course,” Klopp told beIN Sports. They played for many years and did the best.

And he added, “But we must not forget Mohamed Salah, because he has developed a lot since his arrival in Liverpool, and I am sure that at this moment he is one of the best players in the world, if not the best.”

The German continued, “We see everything Salah does in matches and training. He is a great player and world-class.”

He continued, “I think that Salah will continue to shine and remain among the elite if he maintains his health and his constant desire to excel in light of the mentality that he possesses.”

Salah is spending his fifth season with Liverpool, who joined him from Rome for 42 million euros.

In 218 matches he participated in with Liverpool, Salah scored 140 goals and sent 54 assists.

He won four titles with the team, the 2019 European Champions League, the European Super and the Club World Cup in the same year, then the English Premier League 2019-2020 season.
