Manchester City regained the top spot in the English Premier League, after winning a precious 2-1 victory over its guest West Ham United, today, Sunday, in the fourteenth stage of the English Premier League.
The rest of the stage matches resulted in Leicester City winning 4/2 at home to Watford, and Brentford winning at home to Everton 1/0.
City’s balance rose to 29 points to regain second place, which Liverpool got temporarily yesterday, with a goal difference behind Chelsea (the leaders), equal with it in the same balance, which hosts Manchester United later today in the same stage.
On the other hand, West Ham, who suffered their fourth loss in the championship this season and the second in a row, stopped at 23 points in fourth place.
In a snowy atmosphere at Al-Ittihad Stadium, City advanced with a goal through German star Ilkay Gundogan in the 33rd minute.
Then Fernandinho added the second goal in the 90th minute.
Meanwhile, Manuel Lanzini scored West Ham’s only goal in the fourth minute of calculated time instead of lost for the second half.
