The Sheikh of Al-Azhar: Invitations to

Sheikh of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb

The Grand Imam, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Ahmed Al-Tayeb, commented on what is being raised to confuse the brotherhood of Islam and Christianity, in defense of the right of the Egyptian citizen to live in security, peace and stability.

He said that the confusion between this fraternity and the mixing of these two religions, and the dissolution of the differences and divisions specific to each of them, especially in light of the trends that claim that there can be one religion called “Abrahamic” or the Abrahamic religion, is an invitation to confiscate the most precious possessions of humankind, which is Freedom of belief, freedom of belief, and freedom of choice.

He added, during his speech at the Egyptian Family House Conference, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Egyptian Family House, that this call is similar to the claim of globalization, the end of history, and “global ethics” and others, noting that it appears as if it is a claim to the human meeting and its unification and the judiciary. On the causes of his conflicts and struggles, but it is a call to confiscate freedom of choice

She emphasized that it is a call in which dreams are many times more accurate than the correct understanding of the facts and nature of things.

This morning, the participants in the Egyptian Family House conference, including leaders of Al-Azhar and the Church and senior statesmen, flocked, in the presence of the former President of the Republic, Counselor Adly Mansour, the Grand Imam, Dr. The bishops of the Holy Synod, members of the House of Representatives, the Senate, the media, personalities and the public.

The Egyptian family home is based on the implementation of the highest values and common denominators among the various religions, cultures and human civilizations, with the crystallization of a new discourse from which a method of moral and intellectual education emerges, in a manner that suits the needs of young people, and encourages mental engagement in a culture of peace, rejecting hatred and violence, identifying on the other, laying the foundations for cooperation and coexistence among the citizens of the same country, as well as monitoring and proposing preventive means to maintain community peace.

It is worth noting that former Prime Minister Essam Sharaf issued a decision in 2011 to establish the Egyptian Family House headed by the Grand Imam, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and the Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church, who was then Pope Shenouda III, who died in March 2012.
