The Israeli army announced this morning, Monday, that senior Israeli military officers met with their Egyptian counterparts and discussed common issues facing the two armies.

On his Twitter account, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichai Adraee, said: “Yesterday (Sunday), a meeting of the joint military committee of the IDF and the Egyptian army was held, where bilateral issues between the two armies were addressed, and during the committee meeting an amendment to the agreement was signed that organizes The presence of guards in the Rafah area in favor of strengthening the Egyptian security presence in this area.
