The secret of Rania Youssef’s absence from the opening of the Cairo Film Festival

The artist, Rania Youssef, was absent from the opening ceremony of the 43rd Cairo International Film Festival, which was held at the Egyptian Opera House.

Ranias absence raised questions about the secret of this, especially since the audience is always waiting for her bold looks at all festivals.

Rania Youssef was absent from the Cairo Film Festival due to her presence outside the country, and so far she has not decided her position on attending the closing ceremony of the festival.

Among the art stars who attended the opening of the Cairo Film Festival, Yousra, Ilham Shaheen, Laila Elwi, Maryam Al-Khasht, Jamila Awad, Nisreen Tafesh, Nermin El-Feki, Rana Rais, Dalia El-Behairy, Fedra, Dina El-Sherbiny, Dina Fouad, Heba Magdy and others.

The total number of films participating this year within the activities of the 43rd session of the Cairo International Film Festival is 98 films, representing 63 countries around the world, 76 feature films, 22 short films, 27 world premieres, 7 international premieres, 44 films premiering in the Middle East and North Africa, and 15 films shown for the first time in Arab countries and North Africa.

The 43rd Cairo International Film Festival awards star Karim Abdel Aziz the Faten Hamama Excellence Award in recognition of his artistic career filled with outstanding cinematic works, and the great artist Nelly awards her the “Golden Pyramid Appreciation Award” for lifetime achievement.

The Cairo International Film Festival, one of the oldest and most regular festivals in the Arab world and Africa, is unique in being the only festival in the Arab and African region registered in Category A in the International Federation of Producers in Paris (FIAPF).
