English striker Jamie Vardy led his team, Leicester City, to victory over its guest Watford (4-2) in the meeting that brought them together today, Sunday, in the 13th round of the English Premier League.
Jamie Vardy scored the second and third goals for the “Foxes” team in the 34th and 42nd minutes, while his colleagues James Madison and Ademola Lookman scored the first and fourth goals in the 16th and 48th minutes, respectively.
Jamie Vardy reached his ninth goal in the current league season, and was ranked second in the scorers’ standings, reducing the difference to only two goals between him and the leader, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool striker.


While Watford’s goals were scored by Joshua King and Emmanuel Denis in the two minutes (30 penalty kicks, 61), respectively, at King Power Stadium.
Leicester City regained the memory of victories after two defeats, including a draw, and raised its score to 18 points, and advanced to the ninth place in the league table.
On the other hand, Watford’s balance froze at 13 points, and remained in the 16th place in the “Premier League” standings.
