Wolverhampton continued its strong performances in the English Premier League and beat its guest Everton 2-1, in the tenth stage of the competition.
Wolverhampton won its fifth win this season, and the fourth in the last five matches it played, to raise its score to 16 points in seventh place, while Everton, who received the third loss in a row, froze at 14 points in tenth place.
Wolverhampton advanced through Maxi Kellmann in the 28th minute, before Mexican Raul Jimenez added the second goal in the 32nd minute.
In the 66th minute, Nigerian Alexi Iwobi scored the goal to reduce the difference for Everton.
