And the media official for Al-Azhar’s preaching in Giza, Ahmed Abdul Rahman, confirmed that covering the private parts is a condition of the validity of prayer, and it is not valid without it, and on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, he said: “The prayer of a menstruating woman is not accepted except with a veil.”

Abd al-Rahman pointed out that it is stipulated that the garment that covers the private part during prayer does not reveal the private part or uncover it.

Regarding the negative comments that attacked the artist, Ola Rushdie, Abdul Rahman stressed that they do not represent the teachings of Islam: “This contradicts the tolerant nature of Islam, especially, if the matter is educational. It would be preferable if good traditions, good habits and educational images spread among us, but with their controls.”

He noted that if the image was for display to the public, it would be in clothing other than the home, to avoid gossip, and the one who ridicules people must know that God Almighty said: “O you who believe, do not ridicule a people of people, perhaps they are better than them.”

The media official pointed out to Al-Azhar’s preaching in Giza, that the hadiths of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade making fun of the one who committed the crime of adultery, as a show of the tolerance of Islam, as it urges people to be easy and easy and do not harm anyone, not by word or deed, not even with a look that frightens him.
