Manchester City fell into the trap of losing against Red Bull Leipzig, while Paris Saint-Germain swept its guest Club Brugge in the first group of the Champions League.

City lost 2-1 to Leipzig outside the rules, while Saint-Germain won 4-1 at its Belgian guest.
