Today, Tuesday, gas prices in Europe continued to rise and exceeded the level of $2000 per thousand cubic metres, thus recording the highest level in history.

And according to what was shown by the transactions, the prices of future contracts for January delivery at the TTF center in the Netherlands rose to 2004 dollars per thousand cubic meters.

The rise comes in light of the high demand for blue fuel with the decline in gas stocks in Europe.

The rise came after the Russian company “Gazprom” did not reserve capacities to pump gas from Russia to Europe through “Yamal – Europe”.

The gas pipeline passes through “Yamal – Europe” through the territories of 4 countries: Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany. The design capacity of the pipeline is 32.9 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
