Apple introduced noise canceling with iPhone 5 and above, however, the latest bug found in iOS 15 removed noise canceling from the iPhone 13 lineup.
One Reddit user complained that the toggle to turn noise canceling on/off isn’t showing up on the iPhone 13 set, while another user noted that the iPhone 13 never had the noise canceling option with iOS 15 because it’s a bug.
He added that this issue also leads to issues with echo on CarPlay when talking between iPhone 13 devices.
While Apple hasn’t released a fix for this issue yet, a Reddit user confirmed that he’s spoken with Apple executives and says Apple engineers are working on it, however, the company has refused to reveal if it’s a software or hardware issue.
