Books – Youssef Afifi:
On Sunday evening, the funeral of the late journalist Wael Al-Ibrashi, who died at the age of 58, was held at the headquarters of the Rose Al-Youssef Foundation in Cairo, after a trip with treatment, during which he suffered from the repercussions of the Corona virus.
The funeral was attended by Dr. Tarek Saada, media captain and senator, art critic Tariq El-Shennawy, journalist writer Karam Gabr, head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, journalist writer Abdel Sadiq El-Shorbagy, head of the National Press Authority, and journalist writer Abdel Mohsen Salama, chairman of Al-Ahram Board of Directors and journalist writer. Representative Mustafa Bakri and journalist Osama Sharsher.
The funeral was also attended by the artist Sherine, the journalist writer Ayman Abdel Majid, the representative of the Journalists Syndicate and the editor-in-chief of the Rosal-Youssef Gate, and the journalist Ahmed Al-Tahri, the editor-in-chief of Rosal-Youssef magazine.
On the artistic level, the artist Ilham Shaheen and the artist Wafaa Amer participated in the funeral,
On the evening of January 9, the journalist Wael Al-Ibrashi died at the age of 58 after a struggle with the disease, affected by the repercussions of the Corona virus, which he contracted a whole year ago.
Al-Ibrashi’s body was transferred at half past seven the next morning to his hometown of Sherbin in Dakahlia Governorate, to hold the funeral prayer for him, among his family and relatives.
A funeral was held for him in his village on the evening of the same day, among his family and relatives.
Al-Ibrashi was famous for presenting a number of successful programs, namely, the truth and ten in the evening on Dream 2 channel, and every day on the On channel, the last of which is the ninth on the Egyptian Channel One.
