George Fouad Kordahi was born on May 1, 1950, in the village of Feytroun in the Keserwan District of Mount Lebanon Governorate.
He now holds the position of Lebanon’s Minister of Information, as he was appointed on September 10, 2021, after the formation of the new government headed by Najib Mikati, more than a year later.

“They congratulated him that I had been guided and embraced Islam, and I received messages in millions of them congratulating me that I had converted to Islam, and this is an honor for me.”
But he considered spreading these rumors an accusation against him because he had never converted to Islam, and he is still a Christian.
