The Jordanian newspaper, “Al-Ghad,” reported that the capital, Amman, witnessed the first crime of the new year, when a person shot another person, killing him.
The newspaper quoted a security source as saying that a person “shot another man, killing him after a dispute between them, and he fled,” noting that the security services are looking for the killer.
The newspaper said that the incident represented “the first crime in the new year 2022 dealt with by the Public Security Directorate in the Kingdom.”
The Jordanians also bid farewell to their last year with a murder in Karak, in which a woman and a man were killed, and a child and a woman were committed.
