Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi affirmed his country’s support for Tunisian President Kais Saied, and his measures and strenuous efforts to achieve stability in the country.
This came when the Egyptian President received the Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, where the latter handed him a message from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The message included Algerias pride in its close and distinguished relations with Egypt at the official and popular levels, and its interest in strengthening areas of bilateral cooperation with Egypt in all fields. Joint Arab Action.
The official spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, Bassam Rady, added that the meeting dealt with discussing ways to enhance the prospects for bilateral relations between the two countries. The two foreign ministers, in order to serve the efforts to support relations, deepen the bilateral partnership between the two countries, and strengthen cooperation and coordination frameworks on all issues of common interest in order to achieve stability, security, cooperation and solidarity.
On the level of regional issues of common interest, they discussed the latest developments in the situation in sisterly Libya, where they agreed on the importance of working to achieve security and stability, preserve the unity and sovereignty of Libya, and unify its national institutions, especially the military and security, in order to enhance international efforts to end the presence of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libyan territory.
