Today, Wednesday, the Saudi security authorities revealed the nationality of the people accused of throwing the Saudi flag in the garbage, after urgent intervention by the Public Prosecution.
The media spokesman for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Police said that the security authorities of the Jeddah police arrested 4 residents of Bangladeshi nationality, for insulting the national flag.
The spokesman confirmed that they were arrested, and legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution, according to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”.
He called for respecting, protecting and preserving the national flag and not offending it in any way, stressing that anyone who violates this will be arrested and the system applied against him.
