German coach Thomas Tuchel was crowned the best coach in the world in 2021, presented by the International Football Association, during the annual award ceremony for the best in the world.The BestIt is located at the headquarters of FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland.
Tuchel won the award for the best men’s coach in the world, beating the duo: Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, and Roberto Mancini, coach of the Italian national team.
FIFA awards “The Best” annually to the best male and female player, best coach for the men’s and women’s teams, best goalkeeper and goalkeeper, the fair play award, the Puskas award for the best goal of the year, and the award for the best audience, where awards are awarded in each category, for the achievements made during 2020/2021 season.
FIFA had earlier revealed the final list competing for the award for the best player in the world for 2021, which included the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Argentine Lionel Messi, and the Polish star Robert Lewandowski, after the initial list included 11 players who competed to enter the final list.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool player, is competing for the FIFA World Player of the Year award for the second time in his career full of titles and achievements, after he entered the final list recently.
Mohamed Salah came in third place in the ranking of the “The Best” award for the year 2018, behind Croatian Luka Modric and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
