The book fair opens its doors for free entry to children, the elderly and people with special needs


To encourage and facilitate visitors Cairo International Book Fair In its 53rd session, the exhibition’s Supreme Committee decided to allow the public to enter its headquarters at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences without being linked to certificates of receiving the Corona virus vaccine, due to the presence of a center to receive the vaccine in the exhibition, provided that this condition applies to presence in closed areas designated for cultural and artistic activities only, taking all The customary precautionary measures in the interest of public safety.

The committee also decided to open five additional sales outlets next to the electronic platform to accommodate the largest number of visitors and simplify the procedures for them, and it was also decided that children under the age of 12 years could enter for free, in addition to the elderly and people with special needs, and the exhibition receives the public daily starting from ten in the morning on Thursday 27 January and lasts until February 7.

It is noteworthy that the 53rd session of the Cairo International Book Fair bears the slogan of Egypt’s identity… Culture and the question of the future, and it will be held from January 26 to February 7 next, at the Egypt Center for International Conferences and Exhibitions, and the State of Greece will be the guest of honor.
