A new feature on Google allows you to book doctors’ appointments

The giant American Internet and technology services company, Google, revealed its endeavor to develop a new feature that makes booking doctors’ appointments easier through the Google Internet search engine, according to the Emirati statement.

The website Cnet.com, which specializes in technology issues, indicated that although the new feature is still in its early stages, Google intends to launch it in the United States, relying on a certain number of health service providers at first.

Google is currently working with Mint Clinic and other companies that provide the appointment service for doctors, so the search engine will allow users, through the new feature, to access the timings available to doctors to choose from.

On the other hand, Google revealed its next step for the physical condition monitor known as Fitbit, which is awaiting approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to start putting it on the market. This device, based on artificial intelligence techniques, monitors the performance of the heart through its permanent presence around the wrist, and it can send a signal in the event of an abnormal heartbeat.

According to the study conducted by a cardiologist at the American Massachusetts Hospital on the new device, it became clear that the algorithm he uses was able to detect undiagnosed atrial fibrillation in 98% of cases.
