Al-Ahly announces the diagnosis of Hamdi Fathi’s injury and reassures the fans


Ahmed Abu Abla, head of the medical staff of the first football team in Al-Ahly Club, revealed the latest developments in the health of Hamdi Fathi, the team’s midfielder, after the injury he suffered in the match between Egypt and Senegal.

Abu Abla said, in statements carried by the official Al-Ahly club website, that Hamdi Fathi’s condition is reassuring to a large extent, after he suffered a shoulder injury during his participation with the national team against Senegal.

Al-Ahly doctor added The medical examinations conducted by Hamdi Fathi confirmed that he had suffered a bruise in the shoulder, and that he would undergo a medical examination tomorrow before the start of the team’s training; To reassure more on his condition, although things are not worrisome with regard to his injury.

The Al-Ahly football team resumed its training this morning, Thursday; In preparation for facing Al-Hilal of Sudan, scheduled for next Sunday evening, in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

The team trained at the Touch Stadium after the rest period that it obtained yesterday, within the program set by the technical staff led by Pitso Mosimane.

The team coach, Pitso Mosimane, was keen to hold a lecture with the players before the start of the training session to talk about the technical and tactical aspects of the Al Hilal match.
