Dramatic scenario..Cameroon snatches “+120” qualification for the World Cup

Cameroon qualified for the 2022 World Cup with a dramatic scenario, after the team beat Algeria at home and among its fans, with two goals to one, in the second leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers.

The Algerian team had won at the expense of Cameroon in the first leg with a clean goal, before losing in the second leg, to qualify the Cameroonian team for the World Cup.

Chubu Moting managed to score the lead for Cameroon in the second leg after 22 minutes of the first half, after a cross fell in front of him inside the penalty area, to hit the net.

Algeria scored the equalizer in the 50th minute, but referee Bakary Gassama decided to cancel it due to an offside case against Islam Slimani.

The progress of Cameroon remained until the end of the original time of the confrontation, so that the two teams ruled for extra time, which saw Islam Slimani score another goal, but it was canceled due to the presence of a handball against the Algerian striker.

Ahmed Touba scored the equalizer for Algeria in the 118th minute, after a powerful header into the Cameroon net, to put his country among the qualifiers for the World Cup.

But Karl Ekambi refused the rise of Algeria, to score a fatal goal for the Cameroon team in the fourth minute of the time instead of wasted, after a cross ball turned it with a powerful shot into the net.

With this victory, the total result is a 2-2 draw between the two teams, but Cameroon’s record of an away double allowed the team to qualify for the World Cup and oust Algeria.
