Refaat said on Ontime Sports: “Queiroz is respectful, calm, deals nice with players and motivates them, and is always optimistic.”
He continued, “He only spoke to me twice, the first before the Qatar match and the second after it. He told me that he knew that I was away from the national team for a long time.”
“Queiroz knows everything about all the players,” he concluded.
Refaat participated in the Arab Cup, in which the Pharaohs ranked fourth.
But he missed the 2021 African Cup and did not join the current list.
Egypt is preparing to face its host Senegal on Tuesday in the second leg of the final stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
It is enough for the Pharaohs to draw after they won the first leg with a goal.
