Algerian international Ismail Bennacer sent an influential message to his fans after the failure to reach the 2022 World Cup.

Cameroon qualified for the 2022 World Cup by defeating Algeria 2-1 in the last moments of extra time in the return match in Blida, after losing their home game with a goal.

And Ben Nasser wrote on his personal account on Twitter: “My Algerian brothers, football is a magical sport, but sometimes it is cruel and unfair.”

He added, “Like all of you, I am disappointed. But rest assured that I will proudly defend the national colors to make you happy.”

“Thank you for your moral support, which makes us proud to represent Algeria,” the Milan player added.

He continued, “The loss affected our psyche negatively, but we must turn the page, and get up again in preparation for the next competitions. We must remain united. The next will be better.”

He concluded, “We succeeded collectively, we fell collectively, and we will rise collectively. Praise be to God in all circumstances.”

Cameroon beat Algeria 2-1 in the second leg of the crucial stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

Thus, Cameroon qualified for the World Cup after a positive tie in the two matches with two goals each, but because of the untamed lions scoring two goals outside their land, they snatched qualification.

Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting opened the match goals in the 22nd minute.

Ahmed Touba equalized for Algeria in the 118th minute.

It seemed that Algeria had already snatched the qualification ticket.

But in the 124th minute, Karl Toko Ekambi scored a fatal goal to snatch the qualification ticket from the warriors’ teeth and send his country to the Qatar World Cup.
