Ghana snatched the qualification for the 2022 World Cup from Nigeria by imposing a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the African qualifying playoff for the World Cup.

The first leg of Ghana ended in a goalless draw, with the Black Stars deciding the qualification ticket thanks to the out of the rules rule.
