The Bosnian moved to Besiktas on loan from Barcelona during the last summer transfer market for 20 million euros, after leaving the accounts of Ronald Koeman, the former coach of the Blaugrana.
Pjanic told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “The best decision Laporta made was to use Xavi, the team has become completely different.”
Then he talked about Barcelonas new talents, “When I first saw Jaffe, I knew that he would have another place in the world of football, that he is a wonderful talent.”
“He dances with the ball like Iniesta did,” he added of Pedri.
When asked about the best free-kick taker, “Of course Messi, I train to take free-kicks a week from 20-30, but he trains once a year, I think, and when he does he succeeds.”
He concluded by talking about the treatment he received from Koeman, “He treated me with disrespect, and his departure from the club is the best decision.”
Xavi arrived at the helm of the Catalan team’s technical leadership in early November, succeeding Ronald Koeman, after a series of negative results for the team.
Xavi led Barcelona in 25 matches, during which he achieved 14 victories, 7 draws and only 4 defeats.
