Hadi Khashaba, the former defender of the Egyptian national team and Al-Ahly, called on the Pharaohs players to focus heavily against Senegal, stressing the importance of exploiting the counter-attacks in the offensive third to score a goal and increase the psychological pressure on the Teranga lions.

Egypt is preparing to face its Senegalese counterpart tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:00 pm, in the match that will be held in Dakar, in the second leg of the final round of qualifying for the World Cup Qatar 2022.

Khashaba said in statements to “Yalla Koura”: “There must be a defensive organization and we should not waste any opportunity from the rebounds that will be available to us because the Senegalese team will press strongly from the first moment in the match, and the speeds of Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet must be used to shake the opponent’s net.”

He added, “What the Senegalese public did with the players of the team upon the arrival of the mission will not affect, especially since we have professional players with experience, which is also expected in African countries, and our players should focus only on Queiroz’s instructions and not pay attention to the public’s provocations in the stands and the referee as well.”

And he continued his statements: “In my opinion, Ali Jabr is the best suited player to play alongside Yasser Ibrahim, because he is good at dealing with high aerial balls, unlike Ayman Ashraf, and Omar Jaber is suitable to lead the Yemeni front after he excelled in the first match. He is a player with experience and has good emotional stability.”

And he concluded his statements: “We have to reduce the mistakes tomorrow against the Senegalese team and deal wisely with the match so as not to allow the opponent to reach the nets of Mohamed El-Shennawy.”

The Egyptian team had defeated its Senegalese counterpart, with a goal without a response, so that everyone waited for the final match to decide the qualifiers for the World Cup.
