European reports claimed that Arsenal player Mohamed Elneny is close to leaving the Emirates Stadium at the end of the 2022/2021 season.
Elneny moved to Arsenal in January 2016, and his contract with the Gunners is due to expire in June.
The famous Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who works for the “Sky” network, confirmed in a tweet through his official account that Al-Nini is on the verge of leaving Arsenal at the end of the season.
The reliable journalist confirmed that there have been no negotiations between Elneny and the Arsenal administration – so far – on the issue of renewing his contract.
Elneny played 140 matches with Arsenal in various tournaments, scoring 5 goals and making 9 assists.
The 29-year-old won three titles with Arsenal: “The FA Cup (once) and the Community Shield (twice).”
It is worth noting that Elneny is currently with the Egyptian team in Dakar in preparation for the match against Senegal at 7:00 pm today, Tuesday, in the second leg of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
